President
 Scott Veitch, a graduate of the University of British Columbia, has been a real estate licensee for 20 years, and is currently the managing broker for Century 21 Veitch Realty in Creston.
He was a governor with the Real Estate Institute of BC for ten years, earning FRI and RI (BC) designations. President of the Kootenay Real Estate Board in 2002, he joined BCREA’s Board of Directors in 2003.

Vice President
 John Tillie, an associate broker with RE/MAX of Duncan in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, began his real estate career in 1980.
He has served as a director of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board and was President in 2001. John has been a BCREA director since 2002.
Past President
 Andrew Peck has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1983. He became a co-owner of Royal Pacific Realty Group in 1995 and currently serves as its managing broker.
Andrew has been an organized real estate volunteer since 1988, serving as president of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver in 2004-2005. He sits on The Canadian Real Estate Association's Federal Affairs Committee, and teaches in BCREA's Continuing Professional Education (cpe) program.
Chief Executive Officer
 Robert
Laing joined the BCREA team in March 2000 as the
Director of Government Relations, where he focused the efforts
of BCREA and its Government Relations Committee to develop
and maintain an effective, proactive government relations
program. He became the Association’s Chief Executive Officer
in 2002.
For 20 years, Robert has served the real estate profession
in the roles of lawyer, educator and liaison to all levels
of government, crown corporations and regulatory bodies. Before
joining BCREA, he was head of The University of British Columbia’s
Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration’s Real
Estate Division.
