Legally Speaking is an essential monthly newsletter for all professionals involved in real estate transactions. The following lawyers contribute their legal expertise to Legally Speaking on a range of issues pertinent to the various professionals involved in real estate transactions.

BCREA thanks the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia for generously funding Legally Speaking.

Mike Mangan is an experienced trial lawyer, author and teacher and also authored the popular book The Condominium Manual: A Comprehensive Guide to the Strata Property Act.

Brian Taylor is a partner with Bull, Housser & Tupper practicing in the areas of administrative, local government and real estate law. He drafted the standard forms currently used by the real estate professions.

Ed Wilson, a partner with Lawson Lundell, practices real estate law and acts for developers and investors in industrial, commercial and residential projects. He assisted in the drafting of provincial legislation, including the Real Estate Services Act and the Strata Property Act.

Jennifer Clee has worked in private practice in Vancouver, specializing in professional negligence defence actions. In 1991, she joined the Real Estate Errors and Omissions Insurance Corporation as a staff lawyer, where she has defended real estate professionals in hundreds of real estate actions.
